Attorney Eric J. Lewellyn is a partner at Alders and Lewellyn, PLLC. He is licensed to practice law in Tennessee and Mississippi. Mr. Lewellyn focuses his practice on personal injury, specializing in catastrophic injuries, wrongful deaths, and trucking accidents.

Attorney Lewellyn was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. Mr. Lewellyn graduated from Rhodes College and then attended the University of Arizona, James E. Rogers College of Law. Following his graduation from law school, Mr. Lewellyn worked for Justice Janice Holder of the Tennessee Supreme Court. During that time he assisted Justice Holder with the research and writing of Tennessee Supreme Court opinions. This experience provided invaluable experience performing legal research and writing, as the Court sought to resolve the toughest cases in the state.

After working with Justice Holder, Mr. Lewellyn began working for one of the largest insurance defense firms in the Southeast. His primary concentration area was workers’ compensation and personal injury defense. This experience provided Mr. Lewellyn with the opportunity to learn how insurance companies think and operate.

In 2016, Mr. Lewellyn decided that he no longer wished to represent insurance companies and that he wanted to use his talents to make a difference in the lives of others. Since 2016, he has focused his practice exclusively on representing people who have been injured by the negligence of others. During that time, Mr. Lewellyn has obtained the following jury verdicts:

November 12, 2017 - Benton County, Mississippi - $1,800,000.00

March 8, 2019 - Shelby County, Tennessee - $1,387,762.93

September 25, 2019 - Shelby County, Tennessee - $2,519,772.00

In addition to these jury verdicts, Mr. Lewellyn has obtained numerous settlements over $500,000 including the settlement of a traumatic brain injury case for $2,100,000.00, the settlement of an apartment shooting case for $1,200,000.00, and the settlement of a wrongful death case for $900,000.

Mr. Lewellyn joined Mr. Alders in practice in January 2022. Mr. Lewellyn wants to use his experience to fight for you and to insure that you receive fair compensation for your loss or injury.
