Jonathan Alvarez is a Partner at the firm’s New York City office and is a member of the NYC personal injury lawyer team. He has experience as a litigation attorney handling various matters from inception to trial, including motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, construction accidents, dog bites, municipal liability, bicycle accidents, school accidents, medical malpractice, police misconduct, and other types of serious injury cases. Prior to joining Meirowitz & Wasserberg, LLP, Mr. Alvarez worked as an Associate in a boutique plaintiff’s personal injury firm in Westchester County and was a Trial Attorney for the Office of the Corporation Counsel of the City of New York.
Mr. Alvarez graduated magna cum laude from Pace University School of Law. While in law school, he was a Note and Comment Editor of the Pace International Law Review Journal and clerked for the Hon. Nelson S. Roman of the United States District Court, Southern District of New York. Mr. Alvarez is fluent in Spanish. He is a member of the Bronx Bar Association and Westchester County Bar Association.
